Dear Go Sevak Brothers and Sisters of West Bengal

West Bengal is known for high culture, heritage, Freedom fight and Compassion to speechless animals. State with 92 million population, 20 Districts, 66, Sub divisions, 120 Municipalities, 6 Municipal corporations, 341, Mandal, 40782 villages, 456 police stations, 3354 Gram Panchayat,.

Bordering with Bihar, Orissa, Jharkhand, Assam, Arunachal, Sikkim states of India and Bangladesh, Bhutan and Nepal with large coastal and river sources West Bengal is known industrial and commercial centre which served as Indian Capital in British regime

 As per 2012 Live Stock Census with 16.05 million Cow progeny, 0.6 million buffalo stock is a leading milk producing source in the nation. But it is witnessing the brute illegal slaughter of app 70 lakh, Sacrifice on Bakar id day of app.20 lakh and illegal smuggling to Bangladesh of more than one Crore every year.

There are several animal welfare organizations functioning in the State of West Bengal in Cattle safety, preservation but facing many problems in their endeavor to serve speechless animals. 50% milk available in the state is estimated from adulterated milk even made from Detergent and Urea running the State health.  Violation of Union and State Acts and Rules can be seen in every corner. Gaushalas are not patronized by the government as there is no unity among us 

We all were feeling the requirement of a state level body to look after the interest of Goshalas, in Karnataka. A Federation which can represent and place our voice to all concerned. A body which shall unite us and stand with all Goshalas as a guiding factor for the improvement, legal strength, animal welfare and all other aspects.
